Denise Richards Ushers in a Bronde Hair Makeover

Going through a breakup and making some rash hair cut and color choices is somewhat of a right of passage, though many of us wish we could go back in time and put the scissors or box dye down before things got too messy. When done well, though, there are few better ways to help usher in a new era for ourselves than with a hair transformation, and for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Denise Richards, a trip to Jennifer Aniston’s beloved hairstylist for a color refresh is just what the doctor ordered, and the results are nothing short of stunning.

Denise Richards Goes Bronde With Chris McMillan

Last month, the reality TV star announced her split from husband Aaron Phypers, and instead of slapping on a “revenge dress,” Richards went a step further and consulted the best-of-the-best for a hair makeover. Tapping none other than the creator of Leslie Bibb’s CLB and the mastermind behind Jennifer Aniston’s best looks, Chris McMillan, Richards went for a more dimensional color than we’re used to on her. The addition of feathery layers is the cherry on top of this post-breakup hair masterpiece.

“Finally all grown out and healthy long BRONDE hair (thanks to @kccarhart) for the color and consistent trims,” McMillan wrote on Instagram before explaining that, “Denise a year ago had bleached hair dyed over with brown,” so it took some time to be able to blend her strands into a soft, nuanced bronde. “Denise has such a natural vive that natural just works best,” McMillan said of her effortless look, noting that “loose long layers loose movement” were integral to her easy-going ‘do. Styled with products from his upcoming hair-care line, McMillan’s work on Richards gave the television personality a look refresh perfectly suited to her newly single era.
