Princess nails have been reigning supreme for some time now as people have been opting for more classic, pared-back manicures. If you don’t know, princess nails are short, neatly trimmed and come in neutral, feminine shades like nude, light pink and subtle shimmers. We spotted Amanda Seyfried sporting princess nails at the 2026 Golden Globes, and it’s giving us inspiration for our next manicure.
Celebrity manicurist Emi Kudo says she “envisioned Amanda in something chic—classic, yet hinting at a new red-carpet direction through a soft iridescent shimmer.” Kudo says it was clear that the nail polish shade “Artisan” from Dazzle Dry ($22) would be perfect for the look.

Seyfried’s stylist, Elizabeth Stewart, also immediately loved the soft white, iridescent shade and how it paired with the star’s gown. “I was excited that Elizabeth wanted to elevate the look rather than stay traditional, and Amanda loved the shade just as much,” says Kudo.
Kudo notes that Dazzle Dry is a great choice for red carpets since the reliable five-minute dry time allows for thoughtful nail prep without any rush. Kudo began the prep by shaping the nails into a clean square-off shape, trimming the cuticles, buffing the surface and removing calluses. Kudo then applied one coat of Dazzle Dry Nail Prep ($19) and two coats of Artisan (allowing each coat to fully dry first). Once the color turned matte (a sign it was dry), she applied Top Coat ($22). Then, after just five minutes, Seyfried was ready to slip into your gown and heels.
