Jill Zarin’s Daughter Ally Shapiro Opens Up About Her ‘Breast Restoration’ After GLP-1 Weight Loss

Losing weight on GLP-1 medication can reshape more than the number on the scale, and Ally Shapiro experienced that shift herself. The 33-year-old content creator and daughter of former Real Housewives of New York City star Jill Zarin just opened up about her first cosmetic procedure: a breast lift with implants after 10-plus years of gradual weight loss left her chest looking, in her words, “more like pancakes.”

Shapiro told Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast she’d lost about 50 pounds. “I lost a lot of volume,” she said, noting the change became most noticeable in the final 10 pounds—and once her weight stabilized, she realized it wasn’t going to reverse on its own.

That’s when her mom stepped in. Zarin encouraged her to at least explore her options, and the pair FaceTimed New York City plastic surgeon Ira Savetsky, MD, who’d performed Zarin’s facelift two years earlier. He didn’t call it a boob job. He called it “breast restoration,” a phrase that stuck with Shapiro because it matched what she wanted.

Now, Shapiro says getting dressed feels different. “Before surgery, I found myself trying to hide my chest,” she said. “It’s not about looking different.
