Hailey Bieber, Queen of Nails, Just Chose Your August Color

Few people have as much influence on nail trends as Hailey Bieber—evidenced by her glazed donut nails and farmer’s market nails, which both previously took social media by storm. Now she’s making a case for blue—whether it’s your last summer manicure or your first fall one.

The reveal came from Bieber’s longtime manicurist, Zola Ganzorigt, who posted a mirror selfie to her Instagram feed captioned “blue summer”—and named the exact shade: OPI Nail Lacquer in Blue Them All Away ($9). It’s a bright, true blue crème from the brand’s Make ‘Em Jelly summer 2025 collection, painted on her signature almond nails—and one you can probably find at your salon.

It’s no surprise that Bieber opted for blue. The hue is trending in nearly every shade for August 2026, according to the manicurists NewBeauty previously spoke with about end-of-summer nail trends. Chicago manicurist Svitlana Motyl predicts Tiffany Blue will be a go-to, telling us that it “continues to be one of the biggest trends because it feels fresh, tasteful and instantly reminds people of summer’s clear ocean water.”

The bolder end of the spectrum is having a moment, too. “Cobalt blue is bold yet incredibly sophisticated,” says Overland Park, KS manicurist Maryna Slynko. “It evokes memories of the ocean, clear summer skies and Mediterranean escapes while adding depth and a modern edge to any manicure. It’s one of those statement shades that naturally draws attention without feeling overpowering.”

As for that shape, Ganzorigt kept Bieber’s signature almond—tapered at the sides with a soft, rounded tip. The Rhode founder’s sticking with what works even as her friend Kylie Jenner (who Ganzorigt also counts as a client) recently opted for the trending soft square. Blue or not, it sure seems like the almond isn’t up for debate.
