For her Met Gala debut, the Love Story actress turned heads in a chartreuse Loewe gown and beachy waves by celebrity hairstylist Christian Wood. “For this year’s inspo, I looked back at Met carpets from the ’90s and early 2000s,” he says. “I loved how those eras felt effortless, timeless and simple. As soon as I saw her gorgeous Loewe look, I knew shiny, undone waves were the way to go.” Wood used a variety of Kenra Professional products, including the fan-favorite Platinum Dry Texture Spray ($25).
For the actress’s glam, celebrity makeup artist Emily Cheng was inspired to create a look of soft-edged radiance. “I added washes of monochromatic tones that melted into the skin to create a sophisticated and polished aesthetic,” she says. “I wanted the subdued, harmonious washes of color and luminous skin to be a soft anchor to the vibrancy of the jewel-toned look. To achieve this, she applied a full routine of CHANEL skin care, including Sublimage Le Baume ($535) for serious hydration.
