Chloe Tucker Caine has always known how to command a room. The breakout star of Netflix’s Owning Manhattan—which returned for season two on December 5—brings even more drama, glamour and star power this time around, including a full-blown, Broadway-style musical number staged to sell a $6 million townhouse. And that’s just the beginning.
Fans first glimpsed Chloe’s theatrical roots in season one, when she revealed her decade-long acting career, including starring in the national tour of Mamma Mia!, before pivoting to luxury real estate. Today, she blends center-stage confidence with Manhattan hustle—also chronicled in her web series Chloe in Manhattan—proving that every deal deserves a standing ovation.
Since Owning Manhattan, how has being on reality TV changed the way you approach wellness and self-care?
“Wellness has always been a cornerstone of my life—I grew up in LA and have been dancing since I was little—but since the show and becoming a mom, I’ve had to adjust. There just isn’t enough time in the day anymore, so everything I do, whether it’s a treatment or a workout, has to count. I’m a big believer in habit stacking. Sometimes that means wearing a red light mask while doing a quick arm workout, or squeezing in a 20-minute massage at the nail salon. Self-care is so important, so you really have to fit it in wherever you can.”
The show often showcases high-intensity deals, glamorous listings and hectic schedules. What practices help you stay balanced and protect your mental health during filming?
“I try to do a Miracle Morning every day. It’s a short, five-step routine: journaling, affirmations, visualization, a brief meditation and some sort of movement. When I’m consistent with it, I really feel the difference in how grounded I am and how much better I’m able to navigate hectic days.”
With your musical theater roots, how has that background influenced your approach to personal style and beauty? And when you’re preparing to sing, are there any specific wellness rituals or go-to products?
“I’ve always had a strong sense of personal style, thanks to my mom. She was a fashion forecaster in Los Angeles, so it felt like I had my own personal stylist growing up. I was constantly in classes—singing, dancing and acting—and I was so lucky to have her guidance. She retired and moved to New York last year when I had my daughter, Charley, and now that she’s here, she’s back in action shopping for us. It’s been incredibly helpful, especially during filming.
As for singing, I try to do some sort of vocal warm-up every day. Your voice is a muscle like anything else, so it’s important to stay on top of it.”
How does motherhood influence your beauty and self-care philosophy?
“Time is my biggest constraint, so everything I do needs to be intentional and effective. I work very closely with my dermatologist, Diana Palmisano—one of the co-founders of Skin Solutions Collective in Tribeca—to focus on treatments that offer long-term benefits rather than quick fixes. That approach has really been key for me. I love things like Thermage and PRF, but honestly, I do whatever Diana suggests. Finding a provider you truly trust makes all the difference.”
The reality TV world can be unforgiving, especially under cameras. What’s one beauty product or ritual that makes you feel like the best version of yourself?
“Red light therapy, hands down. I use it every night, especially when we’re filming, and I really feel like it’s made a noticeable difference in my skin texture and overall glow.”
Do you feel the public exposure from Owning Manhattan affects how you present yourself, and how do you stay authentic to your beauty routine and wellness goals?
“It probably should affect me more! I could definitely use a little push to head out with some makeup on and a cute outfit. I know I feel better when I do, but most days you’ll find me makeup-free in my favorite Alo sweatsuit or workout clothes. Staying consistent with my workouts is really important to me—not just for how I look, but for how I feel. I’m a huge Barry’s girl. It completely calms my brain, which I definitely need.”
In a world of glam listings and luxe interiors, do you think interior design and home environment contribute to mental well-being and beauty?
“Absolutely. Home is where we spend most of our time, so it makes perfect sense that our environment has a huge impact on how we feel. It’s so important to be in a space that makes you feel happy, calm and inspired.”
If you had to design a perfect ‘self-care day’ between filming or showings, what would it look like from start to finish?
“I’d start the day with an extra-long Miracle Morning and then head to Barry’s. After that, I’d come home, get ready and enjoy a relaxed brunch with my family at one of our favorite spots. In the afternoon, I’d get a facial and then stop by one of the little massage places near my house. The day would end with snuggling my baby and going to sleep early. I’d be completely off my phone the entire day—fully present, not thinking about deals, closings or whatever musical project I’m filming that week. I love what I do so much, but sometimes I really need to turn my brain off and recharge.”
