How to Self-Tan Like Brooke Shields This Fall

It may only be mid-August, but in New York, there is a distinct crispness in the air; an unmistakable sign that the (seemingly unrelenting) heat of the height of summer is over and autumn is just around the corner. Personally, that means I’m taking every advantage of every sunny, warm day we have left before the inevitable happens: shorter daylight hours, sweaters, gloves and tanned skin from a bottle, not the sun.

Legendary actress, iconic model and best-selling author Brooke Shields is already way ahead of me. In a recent interview with The Strategist, the Blue Lagoon star divulged her new favorite way to get a tan all year long: Tan-Luxe The Crème Gradual Self Tanning Face Moisturizer ($49).

“I used to use the Jergens, and the smell was just so bad,” Shields admits. “With Tan-Luxe, I was amazed at how good the color was, how not smelly it was and the overall bronze.
